By creating an account or using HobbsMD (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and AleaNCore GmbH, Germany ("we", "us", "our").
HobbsMD is a digital tool that allows general aviation pilots to upload JPI engine data monitor files and receive an AI-generated engine health debrief. The Service is intended as a supplementary informational aid for pilot situational awareness only.
You may use the Service only if you:
The Service is designed for use by pilots and aircraft owners. You are responsible for ensuring that any aircraft data you upload relates to an aircraft you own, operate, or are authorised to maintain records for.
The analysis produced by HobbsMD is generated by artificial intelligence and is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute certified maintenance advice, an airworthiness determination, or a substitute for the judgement of a licensed aircraft mechanic (A&P) or inspector (IA).
You must not use the output of this Service as the sole basis for any decision regarding the airworthiness of an aircraft, the continuation or abandonment of a flight, or any maintenance action. Always consult a qualified aviation maintenance professional and refer to the applicable aircraft maintenance manual, engine overhaul manual, and FAA/EASA regulations.
AleaNCore GmbH accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from reliance on the output of this Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorised access to your account. You must notify us immediately at info@hobbsmd.app if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
Flight statistics (not raw engine data files) are transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate the analysis. See the Privacy Policy for details of which providers are used and the legal basis for transfer.
All software, design, and content of the Service is the property of AleaNCore GmbH and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial aviation purposes.
You retain ownership of the engine data files you upload and the analysis results generated for your account.
We provide the Service on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice.
We may update these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AleaNCore GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any aviation incident.
Our total aggregate liability to you under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
Disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Augsburg HRB 32642, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
